When you have carpeted floors in your home, you are going to be cleaning them quite regularly, and certain types of carpeting can be a whole lot more difficult to clean than the others. It is usually not a wise idea to have carpeting in your kitchen or bathroom; however, something like a hallway or dining room is commonly carpeted, and areas like that would be better off with Berber or Textured Plush, since they are the easiest types to clean up.

If you would rather not put so much effort into the type of carpeting that you choose, you could simply cover all of your floors with Textured Plush, since it is the most versatile of all the available carpeting types. However, as long as you know what you are looking for and what you are looking at, you can make smart carpet choices and end up having a home that is just as comfortable and easy to clean up as you want it to be.
